Damn, Agartha looked beautiful. I'm imagine it was an adventure treasure hunting game like Tomb Raider but perhaps with some survival elements.. though survival games did not had a well known scene back then so Agartha might had been Sega's idea for a Tomb Raider answer.
Indeed. The title alone isn't interesting, but the game turned out to be cool.
I wonder how that Emulator would of worked? Like, would it come with some sort of cartridge port?
I think the emulator was first meant to be used by SEGA themself.
The one in SEGA Smash Pack.
But then came out the idea,
since it could be used to play other Mega Drive games too,
then why not showing them to third party companies?
In case they wanted to make their own (officially released) Smash Pack
(Capcom Smash Pack, Namco Smash Pack, Taito Smash Pack, etc)
