Dreamcast Live is on a roll all of a sudden!

This is the first time they did this but I know the reason.
Their characters for season 2 got leaked early so they move up the announcement but the trailer wasn't made yet so they use AI to make up the short time.
Not saying it's right or wrong, I just connected the dots since they don't use AI again after that.
Could they have handled it better?

They could (especially since SNK's now belong to one of the richest persons on earth, I don't think money's problem) but it's too late now. If you read the comment session on that youtube trailer, most fans are already mad.

It's not Dead of Alive, it's just Dead.

Well, Virtua Fighter's time to shine once more.

I guess their decision to make DOA6's more serious and reducing its fan service (worsened with aggressive monetization) didn't set well with fans.

At least not AI generated this time.

Nice to know they listened to most fans. From the comments, fans are already cooling down now.

Other fighting game franchise may learn from that.

Good for them.
