I haven't touched New Genesis in forever. So what's going on over there?

Have they got around to confirm the nature of Halpha yet?

(I still believe Halpha is actually an artificial planet made from pieces of planets from the original PSO2. Or, like Omega which was created from those records, Halpha could've been made the same way.)

I haven't played the game for a long time so I'm not sure either and asked this on SEGABits Discord.
Spoiler alert, here's an answer from Cat in ハルファ :

"Zephetto built halpha to run his experiments on. There’s no explanation on how but it would be safe to assume elements of base PSO2 were involved in some form.
If you defeat Dark Falz Vael you learn that nameless city is actually an ARKS ship in space that looks identical to the one in base PSO2.
And that’s everything they have given us story wise for the game. Seems like a good pivot point to a new game imo."
