No, that's an oxymoron and someone on PSCrew should be embarrassed about that. It doesn't work that way. The word lycanthrope is from Greek lykos, “wolf ”; anthropos, “man”. A "Rabbit lycanthrope" would still be a werewolf, just with rabbit ears or something.

While there is no greek term for it (given as far as I'm aware Wallace and Grommit are the only media that had a were-rabbit), an accurate word would be "Leporithrope". From the greek word "Leoridae" for rabbits. Other fitting names can be Lapicentaurs or Bunnoid.

Given Tyrol looks like a regular girl with bunny ears, a more fitting name would be "Usagi", the japanese word for rabbit. (Just as anime catgirls are called "neko".)

But "Rabbit lycan?" /facepalm

Well, here Lycan is a race (others than Human, Elf, Machina, Demonic, and Gnome).
Lycans are a race of humanoid beings native to the world of Vandor.
Most of Lycans are wolves (wolf lycan), but there are also other humanoid (Rabbit lycan, Lynx lycan, etc).
So yes, may be they're not using "lycan" words correctly, but they're already make an explanation of what lycans meant in Vandor.

That is somewhat understandable. It is nice I get to play as my original PSO2 character in New Genesis... but still Episode 6 wrapped up the story nicely and now shoving the player in an entirely seperate story wit hthe only relation is the thousand year gap between them.

I know PSCrew want to start a fresh this way, but when a story skips a large gap of time we want to know what happened to the old stuff we're familiar with and how they're doing.

My guess Idola.

Also some stories are locked in side stories of certain characters.
If we can't get those characters, we can't play the side stories.

I don't know enough of the overall Idola story to make accurate guesses, but from what I understand the "protagonist" from PSO2 does not appear in the game while PSO2 characteras seem to be showing up.
My guess after Episode 6, something happened which caused ARKS to scatter and that the NPCs are showing up in Idola while your character sleeps soundly and maybe hurtles off into space as a meteorn.

Yes, both protagonist from PSO2 and PSO2es didn't show up in Idola but their partners (Matoi from PSO2 and Jeanne from PSO2es) showed up.
Other than Luther, most PSO2 characters that show up and playable in Idola were women (we know the reason why).
In the last story that I follow from global version was :
Quna, Matoi, Jeanne, Seraphy / Phuramy, and Risa (Harriete mode) were joining forces to stop Luther's plan.

Coming September 1, this event should keep PSO2 New Genesis‘ players satisfied until the release of the Bouncer class. Daily logins will reward a mix of cosmetics and useful items.
Some of the examples shown in the Headline include Sonic’s shoes, a Tails Mag override, and a sprint animation based on Sonic’s spin dash.
