There seems to be quite the fan base for this show despite it being rather dated. Like, I had to watch the series for myself to see the hype about it and it does look good.

The cancelled “Super Spin”, developed by Zyrinx Software in 1993 for the Sega Genesis, Rom is Found!

Because this is in such an early state, different terrains such as grass and water do not stop or slow down the player.
A small debug display of sorts also appears within the lower left corner of the screen, although its intended purpose is currently unknown.

Yeah, from reading the comments on the article, some have fond memories of this series.
Also for game version, A SNES version was planned but ultimately cancelled.
Genesis was the only way to go for the fans.

The Full Story Behind Sega Channel, Sega's Precursor To Game Pass

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTcIqsFEQNk

Quote
Time Warner's technology lead Andy Rifkin said, "Everybody inside Sega US was incredibly cooperative, but when it came to Sega of Japan, they were kind of reluctant to share things with us. So sometimes we had to back-engineer things.
They kept a lot of things very, very close. And they didn’t want to share.
It was a challenge, but mostly it was a challenge because there were very many versions of the same unit that had different technical features that we had to emulate, so the box needed to work on a wide variety of platforms so we wouldn’t have to worry about which version it plugged into."

Toki: Going Ape Spit - Indonesian translation Patch

Quote
You played as a tribesman-turned-into-an-ape named Toki (JuJu in the Japanese version) who had to save Wanda (Miho in the Japanese version), the princess of Toki's tribe of jungle men and potential suitor to him, whom was kidnapped by the evil genetic engineer and witch doctor Dr. Stark.
With all the humans turned into various animals and beasts, Toki's quest to pursue and defeat Dr. Stark and rescue the princess Wanda only became much more difficult.
This patch contains the Indonesian translation of Toki: Going Ape Spit.

How renting Story of Thor proved harder than finishing the actual game

Quote
I replayed the start of Story of Thor. A lot.
There may have been four save files but seemingly no one (other than me) cared about the previous player.
Having played it again recently, I think I actually prefer the early stages compared to later on anyway.
