Presenting the Unreleased Vectorman Playstation 2
(preservation project trailer, 11 prototypes)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSN85BykbGw

Quote
Like Sonic, Mario and Zelda before him, Vectorman (famous robot from SEGA on the Mega Drive) should have had its transition from 2D to 3D on Playstation 2. Today, please find 11 prototypes and a few Game Design Documents for this Unreleased PS2 game !
Developed by Pseudo Interactive (the same as Full Auto on Xbox 360), the game would ultimately be cancelled. Maybe it looked too much like the Master Chief of the Microsoft game Halo !
Initially, the game was more in line with the two previous Mega Drive episodes, one of the elements retained being the aesthetics of Vectorman's orb. This more faithful approach lasted only 3 or 4 months before development was restarted.
You can download several Playstation 2 prototypes for Vectorman and read all about the research in the link below.
