I think the Sonic we have today is more moral for heroics. I mean, he's not Flash or Superman, but that's what I like about him.

The covers for the first issue have been revealed.

IDW alluded to this at SDCC, but it was unclear whether he was getting his own one shot, or one with Knuckles, which is expected next year.
Looks like it's a mini series. A first for Classic Sonic!
