May be but I think it's depended on a lot more of factors than that.
I wouldnn't know. I blame Hollywood, I also blame Disney etc. But I generally blame Social Justice Warriors and Cancel Culture in general.
A one-shot comic for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds announced!

Yeah, cancel culture is suck. We need to cultivate a culture of courage to beat cancel culture.

Luckily, thanks to Disney, there are more people who are getting sick and tired over pandering in movies and media. while it's unlikely we'll have the same quality of movies we had in the past overnight, pandering movies are losing ticket sales which is getting the message across that we don't want movies that are heavy-handed with political correct interests.

Batman took down Metal Sonic with relative ease. I know he's Batman, but barely much of a fight.

I hope if these comics ever get an animated movie adaption like what Batman vs TMNT had, I hope these hero-villain confrontations are expanded upon.

Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.
Elio is a good original movie, far from woke nonsense from Disney, but it's still bombed.
People still prefer to watch the sequel or remake of well known movies.

Hearing Pixar CCO Pete Docter on making originals films said this make me sad:

“We have to find out what people want before they know it. Because if we just gave them more of what they know, we’d be making Toy Story 27.”

Batman vs Metal Sonic fight is really dissapointing.
I expected he defeated Metal with his genius mind or modern tech that only a billionaire like himself could do but no, nothing like that.
If this is Marvel x Sonic intead, we'll have a cool tech fight between Iron Man and Metal Sonic instead.
Still overall the story and dialogues are kinda enjoyable.

Well, I guess it is a hit or miss. I mean... I think it's one thing to give what they want before they know it, but also taste varies. Such as those who want new stories, or those who pine for older stuff that doesn't seem to be made today. Such as movies with macho-ism and violence. High fantasy films seem to be popular yet at the same time... they're not?

Well.. .despite being five issues long, I imagine they're cramming the conflicts between heroes and villains to make room for the overall story. It is primarily a crossover for the thrill of it than anything too detailed.
I just hope if Warner Bros does agree to adapt this comic into an animated special, they would extend the conflict match-ups.

Just because Mimic is presumed dead, doesn't mean he is. Whisper shouldn't live in paranoia nor should let her guard down just yet.

People are really complicated.

Depended whether the animated special is one-shot movie or series. If it's one-shot I doubt they would extend it.

What if her paranoia is what's making her could survive all this time.
