Managed to scan the first volume before reading it. In the Virtua Fighter Akira's Fist manga, the book introduces Akira's family. He has a sister name Aoi Yuki, who's also taught the Yuki fighting style by their grandfather, unlike in the VF anime, named Subaru.Speaking of Aoi Yuki! In Maximum (UK) Issue #2, Yu Suzuki originally thought Aoi Umenokoji was going to be Akira's sister but was proven wrong by his AM2 staff. But, I do wonder if she was going to be introduced in the game?
Lanolin not only channels Sally's level-headedness and logical mindset, but both of them effectively reel in and refuse to coddle Sonic whenever he does or says something straight-up stupid - both even have the weirdly specific quality of wielding robotic devices with feminine names.The only downside is that these similarities between Lanolin and Sally could mean that IDW has no intention to incorporate Sally herself, even though writer Ian Flynn has voiced a desire to write Sally and the Freedom Fighters into his new comic.
