I read there will be another spin off for Fifth Anniversary Edition, but it's for 2023, so I guess for 2022 endyear they prioritize halloween over Christmas with Scrapnick Island.
I guess. But if they really want to do seasonal specials they really need to schedule and manage their comics more efficiently.
For example, 2019 was a missed opportunity for a Halloween special. They could of done something around the Metal Virus Arc, y'know, the virus that made everyone behave like Romero zombies?
And given the comics are released monthly, instead of spin-off multi-part issues, perhaps just the one comic special. It doesn't have to be as long as the anniversary specials, twenty pages is enough. Just long as it has a full story.
