Switch still got many SEGA exclusives games so for me it's still definitely worth it.

Not to mention all those arcade-perfect SEGA AGES titles.
Columns II, Shinobi, and Phantasy Star with auto map function were so much fun.

That's the old Switch though.
But Switch 2? Not so much.
So far I'm not interested in getting one.
I imagine sooner or late, Samba de Amigo: Party Central will get a PC release.

I doubt it.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble might, but not Samba Amigo: Party Central.
One of its charm point is playing with joycons as maracas, that charm would be lost on PC.

Well, they could give it a VR release.
Either that or let it be played with regular controller. Given controllers these days have twin dual sticks, it's possible.

That's a very limited market, SEGA themselves wouldn't waste their resource for that.
And I doubt third parties would pick this since to get the right for all these songs again would be lisencing nightmares.

McLaren Racing Fan Event Offering Copies of Exclusive Sonic F1 Manga illustrated by CoroCoro Comics' Imada Yuuki and more!

Quote
McLaren Racing Live, the free fan event currently taking place in London's Trafalgar Square which celebrates the Formula 1 team and its drivers, is packed with exclusive merchandise for Sonic the Hedgehog fans who make the trip to the UK capital. The live event is taking place across two days this week; July 2 and July 3. SEGA and the Sonic brand have currently pitched a pop-up booth as part of its recently-announced multi-year partnership with the McLaren brand.

Goodies include a McLaren x Sonic t-shirt, Moor-Art Gallery print of Sonic and Knuckles racing through London and - incredibly - a limited edition manga illustrated by Yuuki Imada printed specially for the event. All of these items will be in extremely short supply, with prints available to all who participate in the ...

Damn, that seems a bit unfair to Samba de Amigo. He can't really have a successful market if his games are too limited and specific for multiplatform.

Yeah, unless they started making spin-off that has a different genre, Amigo and friends would be stucked because of their uniqueness.

I believe the only way I can imagine a standard console release of Samba de Amigo is the use of the analogue sticks. Controllers these days have two of 'em so they can be tilt in the rhythm.

But the original Dreamcast Samba de Amigo could be played with the standard Dreamcast controller, can't they do that?

Yeah, but it wasn't as fun compared to the original controls.
It's like playing Just Dance with buttons or ... playing wii game but without wiimote?

Also did you know that it also came out on Meta Quest?

It's probably the closest thing to its original control but still somehow as not as fun as using joycons.

"I'm cooler Sonic."

Shadow fans when they're watching that dialogue ...
