Seed Sparkle Labs has officially launched Starsand Island, one of the most anticipated farming titles of early 2026. Although currently available only in Early Access, the released version already includes the majority of its core gameplay systems. According to the developer, this phase offers over 100 hours of content, featuring key activities such as farming, ranching, exploration, fishing, and crafting. The systems are designed to deliver a relaxing life-simulation experience with meaningful gameplay depth, while players await the full release scheduled for Summer 2026.Overall, Starsand Island currently holds a “Very Positive” rating on Steam. However, the launch has not been entirely smooth. The developer addressed suspicions of positive review bombing, as several accounts posted identical comments within a short timeframe. Seed Sparkle Labs clarified that this was not part of their strategy and requested those involved to stop. They also responded to concerns regarding anti-cheat implementation, which had previously been mentioned in the user agreement. The team confirmed that the game does not include an anti-cheat system and instead plans to support mods and Steam Workshop integration upon full release.Other feedback has also drawn attention, including criticism about limited voice lines and narrative content that some players felt did not match expectations set by earlier trailers. In response, the team promised to expand voice acting and deepen the story for the full release version. Meanwhile, the Xbox Early Access build has reportedly encountered several technical issues, ranging from reduced graphical quality to black screen problems, which are currently being addressed.As their first indie project, Seed Sparkle Labs expressed appreciation for the support and feedback from players. They also emphasized that Starsand Island will not include in-game purchases beyond the previously announced DLC bundles. One example is the collaboration bundle with My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock, offering a discounted package compared to purchasing each title separately.The Early Access version is priced 30% lower than the planned full release price, making it an attractive option for players who want to contribute to development early on. However, those who prefer a more complete experience — including the planned multiplayer features — may choose to wait for the final version. Early Access is currently available on Steam and Xbox, while PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 versions are scheduled to launch alongside the full release in Summer 2026 with a separate release planned for the Nintendo Switch.

A new collaboration event featuring Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma has been officially announced through the Japanese online lottery platform Eureka Kuji. The event offers a variety of exclusive merchandise themed around the game, distributed through the popular kuji lottery system commonly found in Japan. The campaign is scheduled to run from March 13, 2026 to April 30, 2026.With each lottery ticket priced at around 770 yen, participants will have the chance to win various prizes. The S Prize features two major rewards: a 100 × 52 cm fabric poster showcasing the key visual of Guardians of Azuma, as well as a large Acrylic Mega Figure of Woolby measuring approximately 325 × 245 mm.However, what has drawn the most attention from fans are the prizes starting from A Prize and below, which introduce brand-new exclusive illustrations of the characters Subaru, Kaguya, Uraraka, and Fubuki.
