Another unreleased Genesis game long thought lost has now been found and preserved thanks to The Hidden Palace.
Dark Empires, which was being worked on alongside Kid Chameleon at Sega Technical Institute in 1990, got cancelled in order to get the studio to work on Sonic the Hedgehog 2 instead, as we had learned thanks to The Video Game History Foundation back in 2023. The clones mimic all Cat movement, but they stop if they stuck on the wall. Avoid mines and enemies, and push the buttons to close the stakes traps.

Added Undersea Treasure Hunting for SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive

A simple underwater game for the sega mega drive/genesis console, where you control a diver to help collecting treasures underwater while avoiding sharks, and bring them back to the boat. there are 5 treasures on the seabed, but beware: one of the treasures is a trap, and you lose a life if you collect it! lose all of the three and its game over!

This game is inspired by the extremely obscure 1980 japanese arcade game titled "Kaitei Takara Sagashi", which is developed by K.K. tokki and Namco.
