Vanquish official thread!

If Platinumgames' and Sega's contract expire, and they do not renovate it, then titles like Vanquish and Bayonetta will belong to Sega?
Or will platinumgames be able to deal them with other publishers?

SEGA owns every IP of every game PlatinumGames worked on with them.

It's true as both of you said, Vanquish just got caught up in the flood of huge Christmas games that have both greater appeal and bigger names behind them. Fallout New Vegas, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, GT5, Fable 3 and more all came out in the same period. I think I mentioned this earlier as well but it really hurt the game's chances. Would be interesting to see how it might have done if it had waited until January/Feb.

But they haven't learned from that experience, the same thing happened with SEGA RALLY and another title whose name eludes me at the moment. Sega games seems to sell better around feb and into the spring period. Summer is a hit and miss and November to christmas is dead for a Sega game If its not estabilshed like FB MANAGER or TOTAL WAR,or part of the Mario vs Sonic range.
