Finally watching Inglorious Basterds tonight. Missed it in the theaters and had it on my Netflix queue for 2 months, it finally shipped today.

Watched Dirty Work and The Jerk last weekend. I've seen 'em before and I love 'em both. Best dumb funny movies ever.

No, I just think it's cute, that's all. =P Cute stuff doesn't necessarily have to be gay, either.

Also, I don't think I ever gave my thoughts on the Prince of Persia movie. It was mindless mediocrity. If you see it, don't pay full price.

- Dance Flick: 2/10 - not funny at all
- Where the wild things are: 6/10 - it could've been less tedious/monotonous
- Clash of the Titans (2010): 9/10 - Great!

I agree about Where The Wild Things Are. I found it a bit boring after awhile.

Prince of Persia. I never played the recent games so I don't know how they fare against the film. The last time I saw something based off of a videogame (Max Payne) I promised I would never do it again. I only realised I was going to watch PoP when the title was up on the screen. Until then I thought I was going to watch Robin Hood. That actresses performance was pretty bad but overall the film is quite enjoyable. I was a bit surprised, I suppose I'd be angry if I had played the games.

The only good Video Game movie was Mortal Kombat. That is a piece of classic cinema.

Anyway, I saw Harry Brown last night. I thought it was good, but it lacked the energy of a lot of revenge flicks, and wasn't quite as emotional as Gran Torino. It was still very good though, Michael Caine did an excellent job. Best line in the whole movies was 'You failed to maintain your weapon, son...'

I played the games and wasn't pissed at all.  They took a few of the main points and ran with it.  I went in with extremely low expectations, but came out pleasantly surprised.
They didn't follow the games exactly by any means, but at the same time, they didn't piss all over them (ie: what they did to Deadpool in Wolverine Origins)

Just watched Get Him To The Greek.  I was a big fan of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, so I was looking forward to this one quite a bit.  It was pretty funny overall.  Some of the best bits were when Geoffory showed up.

Hot Fuzz.
With Scott Pilgrim coming out pretty soon, I finally got around to picking this one up.  I forgot how consistently great this movie is.  Can't wait to see what these guys put out next, once Pilgrim is done.

Some watched recently:

- Alice Wonderland 2: nice! But there are somethings don't match with the old anime.

- Titans: the director is a fan of Saint Seiya, and I liked the "homage" with the clothes. The movie was not that good, but the special effects are fine.

- Prince of Persia: was not that bad, but things don't match. It's a Disney movie.

- Ironman 2: very good! Captain America shield, Thor hammer, Black Widow, I love the references to the Avengers. I just don't like Nick Fury black. Why the hell he is black? Everyone knows he is caucasian. Black Widow fight scene is not good at all; Mistique can fight ways better than her.

- Salomon Kane: pure crap!

- LO: funny and shocking at the end.

In the classic (or 616 Universe) Marvel, Nick Fury is white, but in the new 'Ultimates' version he was black and actually based on Samuel L Jackson in the comics.

Anyway, last night I watched Live and Let Die for the first time in aaaages. Really fun Bond movie, Kananga was a great evil villian and I loved Baron Samedi. Not to mention Jane Seymour, phwoar!
