SEGA delisting Sonic 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles and CD from digital storefronts on May 20th

This will include Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic CD.
There are a couple of exceptions – Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2 will remain available via SEGA AGES on the Nintendo Switch and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will still be playable via Sega Genesis on Nintendo Switch Online +.

Report: Time-limited game trials now a requirement for PlayStation games priced $34 or higher

This requirement does not apply to games with a wholesale price of less than $34 or PlayStation VR games.
Developers will reportedly have up to three months after their games launch to release a timed trial, and timed trials are only required to be available on the service for at least 12 months.

Issue #0 of Archie Sonic comics had SOnic say his middle name is Maurice.
Issue #53 was one of Ken Penders issues who given him the name Olgilvie. perhaps one of the ugliest sounding names I've ever heard.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 to stream on Paramount+ May 24

The move to get the Sonic film sequel onto streaming 45 days after its run in theaters started after the first movie was given a digital home release on March 31, 2020.
That move occurred when the pandemic placed everyone on lockdown, and movie theaters were closing down to protect moviegoers and employees from contracting Covid-19 in its early days.
Although the pandemic has slowed in recent months, Sonic 2 streaming on Paramount+ early is a sign that the tradition of releasing movies 90 days after their theatrical run is irrevocably broken.
