Yeah, it really bugs me when people say the industry is ruined or games suck now or something. In every case I know of this is from people who are upset games are not the same as when they were played them most, like when they were growing up.

I can understand getting exhausted by genres or certain franchises, but there has never been more choices when it comes to ways to purchase, find or even make games. In my opinion, the industry is better.

Of course I miss the days when every other game was a platformer, but some great platformers are being released for petty cash and have dozens of new reasons to play through them multiple times, whether that be online stuff, add-on content, online multiplayer, almost anything nowadays. It is just hard for me to complain.

Probably the most common phrase people use to hate on a company is that they're "greedy" or "only care about money" or something. Maybe sometimes there is some truth to those sayings, but it's either said too much, or sometimes the people who accuse the company of such don't seem to know much about the people who work at the actual company.
EDIT: And besides, what if some of the people saying such things also do things for money as well?

Whining about Kotaku, they are now banning users for suggesting stuff. This user suggesting that giving the 'star' power to anyone that submits just anything is stupid, since most of the older users had to do a ton of good comments over the years to earn theirs.

Guess what? Fuck you, you are banned.

So shitty site layout, shitty week old articles, bad original content and now banning long time users? Kotaku wants to drive users away.

Really Kotaku?

Random thoughts on Wrestlemania 27:

Surprisingly good PPV.

Edge vs Del Rio was too good to be the opening match. Del Rio showed that he can take it.

Undertaker vs Triple H was cool, but we all knew how this would end.

Randy Orton vs CM Punk was very good, nice fithing psychology.

John Cena vs The Miz: Unfortunately, I knew how this would turn out. You see, here's the problem, Miz is a great heel and Cena's twice the size that he is. It's one of those peculiar situations where the heel feels very underpowered against the face. And considering that Cena can't seem to sell hits, it would be pretty obvious how it would turn out. You see, most of Miz's early matches with Cena went roughly like this: Miz throwing everythin' and the kitchen sink at Cena and he swiftly burns out and beats him.

Dwayne Jonhson highjacking the show was kinda meh...

But overall, great PPV, very little botching, not like... that other show.

Other thoughts:

Bob's Burger's getting a second season? What!?

Well this was all I wanted to watch, and I did.

When Tripple H gave Taker the tomb stone, I was sure it was aware and I was screaming with my eyes for that not to be the way Undertaker's streak ends.

The whole Tripple H yelling "stay down and die" was an extreme version of What taker told Shawn last year, but I don't understand how Taker was getting his ass kicked so much. I mean he is capable of putting more of a fight.

The way the match ended was surprising, I think the ideal thing would've been to use the sledge hammer to brake free.

The whole Taker not being able to stand up with Tripple H still standing up strong after the match ended was probably a good way for him to loose the match.

Even though taker one the match, he lost the fight kinda thing.

I dunno, it seems that in WWE especially the face is ALWAYS dominant unless it's a monster heel (eg Andre the Giant vs Hogan, Umaga vs anyone). It seems they love having the heel get their ass kicked day in day out and only win by cheating or something like that.

It's OK, I'm prone to that happening to me too. Insulting the Sonic series=Insulting me, and someone really hurt me one time and I was upset for the rest of the day. You know you shouldn't let stuff like that get to you, but it's hard sometimes.

I would say just make sure you don't love the game.  I impulsively sell games, the remorsefully buy them back.  I've owned Guardian Heroes for Saturn twice, and I'm looking to buy it again.

Wrestlemania 27 was the first wrestling PPV I'd seen since Wrestlemania 18.
The whole thing was a bit of a let-down for me. Having the World Heavyweight title as the first match of the night seemed pretty odd. Especially when a match with Snooki was the second match last of the night.
I'd never seen The Miz or John Cena wrestle before, and for a main event, it was a bit depressing. Hulk Hogan probably had way less wrestling ability than these guys, but he could put on a good show. (and ring-out call...in a main event at Wrestlemania???)

The Rey Mysterio match kinda bummed me out, because I was expecting more of a high-flying match. The US title match wasn't even shown.

On the plus side, I was really impressed with the CM Punk and Randy Orton match (again, I'd never seen either of them wrestle before).

Undertaker vs. HHH was the main reason I checked out the PPV, and I wasn't disappointed. Great match from the two of them. They do a great job of making it look like Undertaker's going to lose every year.  The end of the match was a bit anti-climactic. I don't have any problem with a match ending via submission. I'm sure that that move the Undertaker did would hurt like hell, it's just that it doesn't have a lot of showmanship to it. Sharpshooter, Figure-Four, Crippler Crossface, Ankle Lock, all great finishers. You immediately know what they're hurting, and you can see the face of the unfortunate soul stuck in it. That way they can really sell it, and bring some drama to the whole thing.

Nope. In fact I don't get how people can like ONLY Sega games. Sega make (or at least used to make) a lot of my favourite games, but not ALL of my favouite games.

I fell out of watching wrestling a while ago, and missed this year's WM. I know what move you are talking about I think, it's that gogoplata move, and yes it's stupid for pro-wrestling. It's a move used in MMA, and it's meant to be a counter against someone who's tackled you ar trying to mount you, since you are on your back. In wrestling, just doing it like that is dumb because it looks dull, and it puts you in a pinning position. ALSO it's a blatant choke hold, which is supposed to be illegal anyway! WWE have had horrible, horrible finishers recently though. Like Big Show just punching people in the head, which has all the same problems. Undertaker should have stuck with his Triangle Hold if he needed a submission.

And yes, CM Punk is a very talented wrestler, and Rey Mysterio is getting pretty old and Roided up and fat, so he doesn't do much high-flying anymore. Sin Cara/El Mistico is in WWE now though, so he might fill that hole
