It's hard if we only learned that for hobby alone without making any money in it, most of the talented ones are learning it not just as hobby but also as their work related projects too.

yeah but I wish I at least had some natural talent for game making. I lost my motivation for it.

Making game all by ourselves is about designing and programming, so there's no such thing as "natural talent" in designing and programming, it's an acquired skill.
It takes a lot of practice, right place/community for learning, never ending interest, and free time.
I used to make or modify existing M.U.G.E.N game characters and stages back when I'm still in college since I got lot of free time, but I never touch it again after I graduated.
I don't even have anything left from what I've made from that time since it wasn't my priority again when I worked and started a family.
The interest for it has long gone, only good memories remain.

Make sure your vmu has a lot of space and not full or close to full.
Only save after you spend the night in INN.. Not has any problems when doing this burned from a CDR..
If some how your playing this on DEMUL then the saving will crash it :).
Only time i seen it not work is with almost full vmu and on DC emulators which is one more why i dont allow the use of  them.

When I was young, I really wanted to make video games. I envisioned myself as a new-generation Shigeru Miyamoto of Sega or my own virtual empire. But back then we didn't have easy-accessible programs like Unity or Unreal, everything was done by pure code and virtual modelling. It's all well and good to think schools and colleges will "just teach you that" but the schools and colleges I went to did not have any of that and just let me down in the long run.

Now we live in a time of Unity and Unreal evolving to allow video game making to be more adaptable, and I'm just super-procrastinating because after all my constant failures and setbacks, I simply lost my drive to try and make games.

Because of that, I'll never make "the ultimate Sonic game" that I've been wanting to make for over a decade.

Sometimes we had to compromise with our dream.
Back when I was a kid I wanna be a comic artists, but turned out I was really suck at drawing.
If ultimate game is too tiring and time consuming to do, may be you could still make ... I don't know ..."the ultimate Sonic story" fan fic ?

I tried making webcomics. I'm not bad at art, but having to make the same character like 3-5 times per page is tedious.

And I can't make my game idea into just a story. That be like making the story of Pac-Man's first game into a novel. While "Sonic Ultimate"  does have a story in mind it is still a journey I want to offer to players.
