Transporter 2.

I didn't like it quite as much as the first one.  I think they tried to do a bit too much, and it ended up losing it's focus a bit.  That said, there were some solid fight scenes.

I also sat a few friends down to watch Red Cliff. I love that movie :D

Oh shit, Red Cliff! I haven't seen that yet. Wanted to catch it in the movies when it was out here, but missed my chance (Also I think it was a cut down edition for cinemas).

I'll have to pick that up on DVD soon.

Last thing I spent money on was...

* 5 Year full driver's license registration
* Mirror's Edge and STALKER for less than $30! Wheeee!
* Cheese and Bacon roll for breakfast from Baker's Delight. Tasty!

Definitely pick up the uncut version if you can track it down.  I picked up the blu rays off of Play Asia as they came out in hong kong becaus I couldn't wait for a release over here.

Bought $300 worth of furniture for our living room. It's finally looking like a real room!

I was feeling like ice hockey so I got NHL 2k9.
Also got Mega Drive Ultimate Collection, to sit along my MegaDrive LP. Both games for the PS3.

I also got this book called "Dali e Eu - Uma História Surreal" (Dali and me - a surreal story). It was written by Stan Lauryssens, a man that for over a decade negotiated Salvador Dali paintings around.
This book is obviously about Salvador Dali, my favorite painter. I'll be reading this with a glass of tawny porto on the hand with Chopin playing at mood volume, just for the sake of being pretentious.

A retro games store opened in  my hood, so I checked it out. Good amount of Genesis and master system games, reasonable amount of Dreamcast games and a small amount of CD and Saturn games. Prices are equitable to ebay, though nothing was stickered with prices yet as the store just opened. I picked up Toy Commander for $9 and decided to wait a week until they get their stuff in order.

Next visit I hope to get a Genesis lightgun, Tony Hawk 1&2 for the DC and perhaps an odd 32X game.

Overall, it's a great resource for the occasional game. Not the holy grail by any means, but still cool.
