12 Rounds and My Name is Trinity on DVD for dirt cheap. Summer stock clearings are so fun!

If you like good things, you should read this.

^I may have to check that out. I know the movie looks outstanding at least, but never read the comics.

I just bought 5 new shirts for my job that starts next week!

It's a good series to get into. There are only the 6 books in the whole run, so it's not like X-men/Batman/etc.... where you're looking at a huge amount of material to worry about.

I nabbed a couple ebay deals at the last minute. No lame auto-bid programs, just good old fashioned bidding!

Won Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (JP version) and DOA2 (US version) for $14 total.

I have some doubts about MvsC 2's japanese version.

You'll need some 'v-points' and 'n-points' to unlock some of the secret characthers. But I heard it's impossible to get those 'special points' nowdays.

So, I ask you:

1) Why did you buy the japanese version of the game?
2) Are you planning to use 'gameshark' or 'codebreaker' in it?
3) Is it possible to load a 'save data' from an american version of the game into this japanese version?

Speaking of Mahvel Baybee, how come we haven't played any of that/VF5 recently? I was talking to Aki-at about VF5 and now I'm jonesing to play that again.

1) last minute impulse ebay win, got it for $5. Already have the "US version" on XBLA. Japanese Dreamcast games rule (full color booklets).
2) I'll bet I could! I do have the DC GameShark
3) In most cases, no. I don't even think Jet Set Radio (JP) can use graffiti tags from Jet Grind Radio (US)

DUDE! You're right! I blame the heat. I'll be on LIVE this weekend for sure, not sure when yet, but we shall spar soon! They should have some sort of "play date" feature on XBLA that forces you into a planned game no matter what other game or app you're using.  8-)

Tournament of Legends, Bayonetta (360), God of War Collection, God of War 3.  I played through #1, and I maxed out all the magic except 1.  I was about 3000 short, so I missed that trophy.

I know that you can for some games for sure.  Sonic Adventure 2 for instance.
I downloaded a US version save to play the Green Hill Zone, and it works with my Japanese version disk.
My PAL and Japanese versions of Rez both read the same save data too.

Those are the only two I've actually tested out since I usually just get the one version of each game, and don't hook the Dreamcast up to the internet very often (it's a pain to get the network cable over to it, and I'm too cheap to set up some wireless bridge).

Did anybody else use http://booyaka.com back in the day for Dreamcast save files?

Jesus... I remember the good ol' days of DLing 100% unlock files and JSR graffiti via the DC web browser. Good times...

I did. I'm surprised it's still up. It's how I got to play those Japan exclusive PSO quests.

Awesome game. I think I played it through around 5 times with my girlfriend when it came out. Couldn't get her into Magic Sword though.

Heavy Rain was on sale at Futureshop, so I picked it up.

I've been on a big MST3K kick, and am buying all the DVD volumes that I missed out on buying during my college years.

Picked up volume 3, 15, 17 and 18.

(ripped volumes 4-11 from Netflix rentals to my computer)
