Damn PS2 video out is screwed up. Standard a/v works half the time and component video is shot. Guess I'll be getting a PS2 slim tonight. Really want to play Sakura Wars on the HDTV. :P

edit: score. GameStop marked down their PS2's by $25, so I got a silver PS2 Slim for $40.

I swung by Walmart to pick up Vanquish, and noticed that they were dumping off a few games for super cheap.
Along with Vanquish, I ended up getting:

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (PC) for $1
GrimGrimoire (PS2) for $1
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions (PSP) for $10
Note: I can't play it any time soon, as I don't have a PSP 3000. I'll probably pick one up by the time I get the time to play this one.

Got an insanely good deal at the local retro games store! Limited Edition Shenmue, usually $60+ online, got it for a sweet $16! Finally the jukebox CD is mine.

google image search, as I'm too lazy to photograph:

Barry, pick up Sly Cooper/Jak and Dexter trilogies. They are cheap, maybe 4-5 bucks each at Gamestop. Plus they are having a buy 2 get 1 free atm.

The waiting has finally paid off.
Costume Quest went on sale today, so I've been playing a bit of that. I've just arrived in the second area.

Saw: The Final Chapter blu-ray appeared in the mail, completely forgot I pre-ordered it! Looking forward to seeing it, since I missed it in the theaters. Plus, it's got Sean Patrick Flanery! Young Indy!

Yakuza 3 and 3D Dot Game Heroes. Buying the PlayStation 3 console (prolly 160g model) next week for sure.

So Goddamned pumped for Yakuza 3 after all of these years (two!) of waiting. Even better, Yakuza 4 comes out really soon!

Oh yeah, and I have always wanted to try out 3D Dot Game Heroes and more of Metal Gear Solid 4! How is the online play for MGS4? I assume after like three years it has to be kind of barren?

It sucks how Sony changed their rules for game sharing, was really looking to take advantage of that.

Fantastic news :D.

I haven't really played the online in MGS 4 since it came out so I can't really say on that one. Konami had some weird setup where you had to register for a Konami account and connect using a password in game.
Uncharted 2 has pretty similar multiplayer, and is a bit more fun.

I was in major need of a new watch, and just got paid, so I picked this baby up:

Made in 1997 by Swatch, designed by the Designers Republic (designers behind the early Wipeout games). They were the reason I got into design.

^Nice!

Last thing I bought was a 'frozen stunner' meal from Burger King. Cheeseburger, fries, frozen coke and sundae for $4.95. I skipped lunch at work and needed something, don't you judge me!

I keep saying I'm done, but I saw a factory sealed copy of Mr. Driller for Dreamcast up for $28.
I couldn't not buy it :D.

I'm with you Soup.

I picked up a few DC games yesterday: Roommania and Smilebits's Pro Yakyuu Team de Asobou Net!

Also found San Fran Rush 2049 for a super super cheap price.
