I might have to give it a look then.

Yeah, it reminds me much more of 2&3 on the Saturn. More of a pixel feel to the graphics, less of the squishy flash animation feel of Fever.

Congrats :D. It was my first Dragon Quest game that I'd ever beaten.
Lots of good RPGs ahead of you on that system.

Speaking of which, I just ordered Radiant Historia :).

In lieu of not buying a Wii this month, I might be picking up Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY edition today. And I downloaded Comic Jumper as its on sale for $5.

Those will keep me busy until VT4 hits. :)

i played a lot of the demo, but held off on buying it due to already buying Ghostbusters, Just Cause 2 and Red Dead. Id love to see an open world Superman game.

I think SuperMan is a train wreck.

The Comic Book.
The Cartoons.
The Movies.
The TV Shows.
All shit, I know i've seen them and read more then a few issues.

But the games aren't all bad, I liked the one on Genesis, Streets of Rage style.

The character is just to imbalanced, and makes up his own rules as he goes along.

A rebuttle to all four of those:

An awesome comic book:

Two great cartoon series:

A great (classic) movie:

A classic tv show, also the animated series mentioned above:

Seriously, to call Superman shit is crazy. If anything, it's the games that are lacking and the tv shows, cartoons and comics that are the strongest. All-Star Superman is amazing, the cartoons (both classic and modern) are great, the tv show was classic and the first two movies (as well as Returns, in my opinion) are great fun.

Agreed with Barry, All-Star Superman is brilliant.

Anyway, Batman Arkham Asylum is one of the very best games this generation, it's disgustingly good.

Last thing I spent money on was Tombstone, Blade Runner: Final Cut and Breaker Morant on Blu-Ray as a buy 2 get one free sale. Also got Hollow Men TV series.

@mademan: I still need to get around to picking up the massive Absolute All Star Superman hardcover book. I think that would make for a great addition to the ol' book shelf.

Didn't make it to Gamestop today, but am hitting them up tomorrow for some Ark Ham with a side of Bat.

Spent money on a SanDisk 16GB Cruzer Micro USB 2.0 Drive (Refurbished) for the ol' 360. Thing was only $16 on Amazon.

Also pre-ordered Virtua Tennis 4. So sweet that it's only $50. Bring on May 10th!

I tend not to read shit like Spiderman or X-Men because a series that long won't have super big twists like a mini-series like Watchmen.

Even so, there are probably some self-contained stories of theirs that are quite good. For example, you could pick up Punisher: Circle of Blood or Welcome Back Frank and you'd have a great self-contained story for the character. Ditto with Batman's Long Halloween or Daredevil's Man Without Fear.

Those a miniseries off shoots that I like. Long Halloween, Killing Joke and a few other ones are good. But the main series stuff, lasting decades & decades is just laaaaaaame.

Yeah I generally avoid those ongoing runs as well. Although having said that, they often inlcude a lot of those mini-series within them. Batman's 'Hush' for example is a pretty good self-contained story that was just part of Batman's continuing run. Punisher MAX series is ongoing but then you have stuff like 'Kingpin' and 'Slavers' that are very well self-contained.
