A rebuttle to all four of those:

Okay so I haven't watched/read everything you listed.

But I've watched TAS, and it is a cartoon so you don't expect it to be realistic but even when I watched it as a kid, it would annoy me to see SuperMan get his ass kicked but still beat the bad guy without the help of an additional variable, he defeated with his own physical powers?

Which always leads to the question, why was he getting beaten up in the 1st place.

Even Sup Returns had the same problem. He had a piece of Kryptonite lodged in him, and he was fighting on an entire island made of kryptonite. He carried the kryptonite off the planet and then he collapses.

The worst part of Superman is that he has great villains like Brainiac, and Lex Luthor that are supposed to be the most intellegent beings in the universe, yet in order for them to be thwarted by SuperMan they have to act in the most stupidest ways.

Why the fuck am I even writing this, the whole premise off a show is that all he has to do to bring out his alter ego is change his hair style and put on glasses?

How stupid is that?

In this day and age even a Mask can't hide your identity. Your DNA is a trail, ever seen an episode of CSI. That is the cool thing about BatMan any character in his universe with half a brain can put 2 and 2 together and figure out his identity.

See through the whole Bruce Wayne playboy thing, Raj al Ghul simply applied the basic logic of finances and figured out his identity in TAS.

Gordon knows his identity from day 1, but just plays along with him as evident in several episodes of TAS.

Superman... yarg pisses me off :P

I think you are looking too much into the micro details and ignoring the big picture. They are super-heros, none of them are even slightly realistic. Hell, the most realistic I can think of would be the Punisher and even he is totally unbelievable.

You really should check out All-Star Superman, it really gives a great overview of the character and what makes him so popular I think. It's reallly the only Superman comic I've read, but I loved it.

If I come across it i'll read it.

I've watched all episodes of Smallville and I really hate that show, but I continue to watch it anyways.

I get how all Superheroes are over the top, but Sups is over the top on over the top. You never for a moment ever find the character vulnerable, their is never any tention cause he changes his weakness on the fly.

To see him getting his ass kicked is just annoying as he is just wasting time, just fire up the heat vision and call it a day.

Might pick up a used Wii and three SEGA titles today. Local game shop has a deal where you buy two used games, and get one free.

I had a shitty past few weeks: a funeral, car trouble, paying taxes, surgery, blood pouring out of my face (okay, thats a bit dramatic, but it did suck). I need me some lightgun games and a good Sonic title bad. Haven't had either since the Dreamcast days.

Oh, and I'll probably still pick up Arkham. ;)

edit:

Awesome! Got me a used Wii at Gamestop! Cool thing is, the box had two wiimotes, 2 nunchucks, 2 wiimote battery chargers, a charger base and the obvious console stuff. Usually, gamestop only gives one wiimote and no charger. Also, Sonic Colors was only $30. :)

I need new shoes too.

I ordered a messenger bag yesterday. $81 dollars from amazon, used-like new. Lol bag is normally 120 dollars. My backpack was falling apart and I wanted to try a messenger bag. I've never used one.

I wanted something that could withstand the elements of nature and is high quality, Timbuk2 seemed like a highly praised brand for that... I was also interested in the all black Crumpler... but it was way too expensive for me -.- lol 110 dollars.

So I went with a Timbuk2 d-lux messenger medium that I found on amazon, pretty happy with the colors, should arrive later this week.

Nice bag Shadi! I have one and it has lasted me FARRR longer than any other messenger bag I've ever owned. I've had it for a year+ and it still looks like new. Also, lots of really useful pockets AND the inside is easy to clean.

Mine looks like this:

ANd yes, I got it because it was SEGA blue.  :P

hahah nice.

The inside of the bag I ordered is electric blue. Makes me think of Sonic and SEGA.

I never liked messenger bags, found them uncomfortable.

I got these a few days ago:

About half way through Punisher Year one at the moment, it's quite good.

So my messenger bag arrived today. It's really high quality. I was shocked by how heavy it was by itself lol. The colors are really nice in person too. medium is the perfect size. I was worried it would be too big, but small would of been too small.

At first when i put it on.. i hated it lol.. felt so different compared to a backpack.. but i liked how it sat against me instead of covering my whole back. So I decided to try getting used to it. Loaded it up with books and just walked around with it for a while.. lol I don't normally carry many books.. just wanted to get myself used to the feeling.

That idea worked cause I'm getting used to it now. I imagine it's much nicer carrying a lighter load like i normally would.

I really like how it looks smaller then my backpack did, but has much more room!

overall, I'm happy with it xP at least so far.
