Am I the only one that sorta enjoyed pso3? I mean it really was far from what I expected. I brought it back an hour after I bought it, but some time after I gave it another chance.

I gotta say that for a phantasy star online game, it didn't make sense. But I actually enjoyed it the more time I gave it. Phantasy star online episode 3 is a prime example of a game that is good for what it is but totally not what people were looking forward to. It has some of my favourite PSO music.

Here's my fave

I actually own it (Episode 3) and I tried to play it.  It wasn't for me.

No.  It also did relatively well critically.  If memory serves I think it got 8's from ign, 1up, and egm.  So. . .haters can ssssuck it.  Didn't sell for shit though I'm sure.

It didn't sell for shit indeed. Here over at holland it went from 60 to 10 euro's in less than 2 weeks. I was mindblown too when I first played it, obviously. The card thing was really not a bad idea, but it didn't make sense whatsoever in PSO's case.

It should have been a whole different IP :P

Are there any particular SEGA games that would benefit from the NGP's gimmicks or features such as the backpad or gyroscope?

Super Monkey Ball seems to be able to use pretty much every control scheme going so... Probably that.

Would be kinda interesting to see how Super Monkey Ball would work on NGP.

PSOE3 sucks. The card battle system they designed is horrible and unbalanced, especially when compared to everything from Pokemon Card Battle, to Monster Rancher Battle Card to even SNK vs Capcom Card Battle (all very original names). It only got some good reviews because it had online play and it was exclusive to GameCube. Music was pretty good, though!

If a good Super Monkey Ball comes to another platform I do not own, I will be pissed. The least they can do is port stuff like the first two games.
