Crap gameplay in Mafia 2? huh? It great shooting and driving and some really well-designed missions. This isn't the place to discuss though, we can continue in 'what are you playing' or somethining if you want!

I also think I was being harsh on the screenshots, the more I look, the more I like them.

Nah, the shooting is fine and the driving physics are nice too. I enjoyed a number of the missions, and I loved the classic playboys : P!

What I mean to say is that outside of following the storyline there is nothing else to do in the game, the open world was pretty dead, it had character but had nothing to do within it.

Ahh, I get whatchya mean now. Yeah there was very little in the way of side missions, which is how the original Mafia was too. I don't really mind it too much though, since the storyline does take you all around the gameworld. The expansion packs make a bit more use of the free roaming aspect as well.

No time for games today, but I've going to try out that Pokéwalker thing out. A full day of walking around town should give me a decent amount of points on it.

Right now I'm playing Hyperdimension Neptunia, basically because SEGA had something to do with it. Even if they were just the distributors. So far I like it! Complete Heart and Idea Factory have been on a string of making these 'indie'-esq JRPGs. I say indie because if I went up to a casual gamer and asked of thier opinion of say. Cross Edge, (That being their most popular game, pairing with CAPCOM and the like.) about 80% would just kinda go, "Wut?".

So far, I like it. the battle system they use is very interesting. I like the four button command option in these more modern RPGs. It keeps the consistency of the battle going. Also when your character levels up they gain more moves, special ones and whatnot. So as your team levels up so does their tactics. All the equipment have defining sprites. I've always really liked it when you change your equipment, the character's appearance changes too.

I beat Cave Story, and I'm EV training the fuck out of my team in white.

At the moment not really playing anything since I just finished Duke Nukem 3D on XBLA (Which was fucking awesome).

Will probably start Witcher again this weekend, so I can do another playthrough before Witcher 2 comes out.

I've been replaying Resonance of Fate.

I'm already at Chapter 7 again, I'm playing Normal Mode but with everything I had gained from my previous playthrough.

The result is impressive in and of itself, I've plowed through the first chapters in less than roughly 5 hours.

Played more HOTD Overkill. What an awesome game. Makes me want to play through HOTD 1-3 again! Shame those don't have Isaac Washington.

Portal 2: Chapter 7. Basically took this long to finally get stuck. But I was really tired when playing. Will try it again in a few.

I'm in the final moments of that episode, it's awesome! If you've just gotten into the series, it's quite surprising to see the number of gameplay enhancements that episode brings. I won't spoil anything.  8-) Enjoy it!

I've gotten past the first trial, me and my sister got a few laughs out of some of the dialogue. I just wonder how much more often future games allow you to look at evidence and it would be nice if Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney will have it.

Started playing The Witcher again in preperation for the second one. I'd forgotten how good this game is.

Also playing Virtua Tennis 4, bloody awesome.

Just played some Golden Axe II again. I might actually enjoy this more than the original. I particularly like how you have more control over your magic spells in the the second game so you can manage you magic a bit better. Love this game! :)
