My Xbox broke :c

So I've been playing:
Final Fantasy IV on the GBA
Gran Turismo and Lumines on the PSP
and World Cup 98 on the N64

Next on my list shall be Mass Effect 2, Chu Chu Rocket and SASASRWBAK I hope :D

And I just ordered a spanking like-new in-box complete GameBoy Micro for 25 bucks!

Awesome stuff.

25 dolars is a hell of a deal for a gb micro.
is the gameboy advance port of Sonic really that bad; if it isn't i'll be pretty tempted to get one for myself.

I got the platinum trophy for Assassin's creed 2, my new years resolution was to get at least one platinum or 1000/1000gs this year and I have already managed 2 platinums.

My friend is talking me into Bioshock 2; I get paid on Friday and am moving on Sat so could do with a nice singleplayer game to last until my net is back up and running.
I just don't know if Bioshock needed a sequel.

I did it. I freakin' did it(finished the boss fight, I haven't finished the game yet).

Quote
In what is one of the toughest boss battles in the game, I have managed to defeat Kakanas and his tanks.
Turns out it was easier than I had previously thought.
See there are two support tanks. One of them steals your MP for Kakanas's tank and the other steals MP to fuel his Cannon attack. What did I do? Simple, destroyed the support tank B, after that it's pretty easy.
Just have someone cast Zephyra every now and then and it's all smooth sailing.

It's truly horrible, the physic engine has been completely redone and due to this there are many MANY glitches. Seriously it's one of the worst ports/conversions ever.

Due to the size of the GBA screen, you can't see that far into the distence, the sound quality is pretty poor, there is popup, you can still get hurt whilst charging the spindash and really, it's just not very good. Shadow the Hedgehog is better then Sonic 1 on the GBA.

You should try out the first Sonic Advance if you want a Sonic fix though, it's the best of the advance series if you ask me.

How about the rush games for ds? Are they just speed and no gameplay?

To beat the first level of Sonic Rush, you literally only have to hold right.

Later you do the same thing, except it is a task of dodging holes.

In the other 2-D Sonic games you hold left and dodge water falls?

What Kogen said, Sonic Rush is mostly about speeding your way through and avoiding death traps then any pure platforming goodness, they tried to put better level design in Sonic Rush Adventure, but the fact that you've got search for items (Which opens up a shoot em up minigame) meant that the game could get tedious really quickly.

Like I said, unless you've already got it or didn't like what you've played of it prior, Sonic Advance is probably, with Sonic Pocket Adventure withstanding, the closest handheld game to focus on platforming and not just speeding. Click below to see what the level design is like just incase you want to check.

I know right? I think it arrives tomorrow :DD

Well, if you're like me and have a blast by playing bad games (that is SO bad and glitchy that you just laugh your ass off), you'll have fun!
If these things just bother you, or you want to play it really seriously, than a definite no.

It is REALLY bad ;P

You guys are looking at Rush the wrong way. It's meant to be like a score attack game. It's about doing tricks and being fast to rack up your score, not careful platforming.

It's like NiGHTS. Without score attacking, it's probably the easiest game in the world. But the challenge is getting A ranks and getting a high score. That's the way the game is meant to be played.

Score attack by not falling down a hole every 2 seconds is really fun. ^^
