Just went from start to finish on Shadow Dancer for the Mega Drive.

You know, there aren't many one hit games I could stomach, but this is one of them. Also stage 3 has such an amazing boss (Final boss fight has a good tune too!)

I just played through the Heavy Rain demo. Very impressive visually. I wasn't sure if it was just going to be one big QTE, but you do have a lot of choice as far as things you can do/not do.
The demo's got me sold. I really want to pick up this game when I have the extra cash.

I downloaded flOw this morning. I only got to play it for about 5 minutes, so I didn't really get used to the controls. I'll give it another shot later though.

Today was mostly comprised of doing one of the final dungeons in Lost Odyssey, Grand Staff.

I was doing OK till I opened the first door on the third floor and had a fight with a Experiment N.1 boss, he kept regenerating health, and casted Powerus on himself thus taking out Seth and Kaim in mostly one or two blows. Here's what sucked, at one point I wanted to lose the fight and I couldn't, because my immortals gets up once every two turns, so I exited the game and had to start over again.

No biggy, I did get everything back in like 4 or so random fights. But I haven't made it back to that part with the experimental boss thingy.

Nevermind, I'm done with LO for the day.

What else? I burned some extra rubber in the S&S-ASR demo.

And I finished off with some Smackdown vs RAW 2010 with my favourite game mode, the Royal Rumble, partly to take the bad taste away from my mouth after this month's dreadful ppv.

Since my Xbox is still awaiting the arrival of said miracle repair kit, I'm off playing some game boy!

Sonic Advance 2 is the chosen one alongside Final Fantasy IV.

I did NOT remember this game to be so good. It is like the best Sonic game I've played in a huge while.

Bayonetta PS3

Objectively speaking, all the hype aside, the gameplay (including innovative mechanics for the genre) is the winner here.  It is just satisfying to play and replay.  I just recently got LBP and Motostorm Pacific Rift, but I just keep playing Bayonetta.  I wanted to kind of save and extend Bayonetta until Yakuza got here, but fuck that, it aint going to happen, but I don't care because I'm enjoying myself.

If you are not great at the genre like me, I bet you are gonna be kind of overwhelmed and not that into it for the first hours of play, but give it time and it will come around.  Especially when you start unlocking the techniques, shit starts going over the top crazy and you are just sitting there smiling while you play.

I recently finished Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and I thought I liked that better than Bayonetta, but fuck that cuz I already like Bayonetta better than I did Ninja Gaiden.

She's deeper, heh..  

If you haven't picked up this game yet, make sure you do at least when the first price drops hit.

Just finished a really quick playthrough of Mass Effect, going to start ME2 tomorrow or so.

Will go back to Yakuza 2 as well, probably this afternoon.

Apart from that I finished Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box a few days ago, really good game, even if it's basically a collection of puzzles with an Adventure Game interface.
