Just finished Fallout New Vegas. Great game.
I already want to start again playing as a heavy weapons/melee combat character after playing as a sneaky small guns expert.

This also means that next weekend I'll finally be starting Vanquish!

Woot. I can do Ultra combos now in Super Street Fighter IV. The simpler ones anyway. =)
Also started playing online and I think it's kind of funny how almost everyone chooses Ryu, Ken or Akuma.

Completed Space Invaders Infinity Gene on my iPod Touch. Definitely a "killer app" and AAA title. Awesome game. The second to last stage was balls hard (ver 2.0 boss run) but was a blast to play. Now I wonder how good the console version is?

Also, FINALLY completed the final werehog stage in Sonic Unleashed. I know it has been said to death, but I'll say it again: "fuck the werehog". While the first few stages were rather enjoyable with platforming, swinging and climbing, the last three stages were so fucking lame in a number of ways. Death pits, death water, sealed off rooms with endless enemies, stupid beam balancing and worst of all no in-game timer. It isn't until the end of the stage that you realize you waisted 25 minutes of your life playing a single act in a Sonic game. What they should have done was dramatically cut down on the death pits, chopped the stage length in half (10 minutes max), increased the platforming segments and cut the whole trapped in a room with a wave of enemies moments. Or better yet, cut the werehog entirely and just doubled the daytime stage count by having the DLC levels on the disc.

Oh well, now I can enjoy Adabat day and the DLC that I downloaded a year ago. Probably will never finish Eggmanland considering I've heard its balls hard and I've already completed the PS2 version of the game last year.

Adabat day is my favorite stage in the game. =)
And don't worry Barry, you'll be able to beat Eggmanland. I believe in you!  8-)

Sweet! Yeah, I remember seeing playthroughs before owning an HD console and really wanting to play that stage. Also, the DLC Act 1-2 with the running on a waterfall segment looks pretty awesome.

It's a shame that Unleashed has the werehog stages getting in the way of the daytime stages. There really is a fun game to be found in Unleashed, especially once you're able to jump right into action stages. It makes me wish that cheat codes were possible on today's consoles. Unleashed with a simple level select code would make the game 100x better for those who just want to get to the good stuff and ignore the adventure fields and werehog business.

edit: should point out that I probably dont have enough medals to get into adabat just yet :P though thankfully I think there are a lot of them that I missed in the easier early stages.

Finished off the first Sly Cooper game. I'm about a third of the way through the second game. They actually changed quite a few things around. Still fun, but it looks like this one's going to take a lot longer to beat.

Really shocked at Barry's reaction to the werehog, it really is not THAT terrible. The worst part of Unleashed was easily the secondary acts for normal Sonic... or the constant death pit QTEs as normal Sonic. Seriously, Spagonia Act 2 is one of the worst things Sonic Team has ever done, even though it is all 2D. If you are not willing to beat the game, at least watch the werehog fight with Robotnik, it is one of the best things about the game.

Recently beat Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Outstanding game, really took me by surprise! I was really turned off by the art at first, but I began to really fall in love with it near the half way point. Hilarious script and excellent pacing. The scene with Booster was literally one of my favorite sections from any game ever, and that says a lot coming from someone who is not a very big Mario fan.

Also playing a ton of other games right now - More at one time than I have in years - but I will wait to talk about them once I finish them all.

Ah, I loved Mafia 2! Try to keep some of the classic cars from early in the game because they become really rare as you move into later time periods. Great storyline and atmosphere too.

Last few days I haven't been playing much at all, but I hope to start Vanquish this weekend.

EDIT: Oh yeah, almost forgot! I played the demo of Fist of hte North Star because it looke a little like God Hand... I didn't like it much though. The combat felt really slow and jerky compared to God Hand's fast paced action and it just felt overall a bit off. I might give it another go soon, but I didn't like it as much as I'd hoped.

Just played Crazy Taxi for XBLA. Ouch, a pretty bad port, I have to admit.

Sonic Adventure was OK, but this one.

While lack of Offspring and Bad Religion can be distracting I wouldn't call it game breaking... however...

Some of the major issues here are staggering, the voices of the passengers are muffled and lowered, which is weird.

Also, does this game feel much difficult? I was honestly trying my best and all I could pull off was a Class A license.

I can play CT on the Pc with the Keyboard and get a class S license easy.

Man, this is the sloppiest port in the history of sloppy ports.
