It's Project Altered Beast (2005)!!!

YES !!!

The first game of the franchise is the original Altered Beast, that has been ported to various console.
The second game of the franchise is Altered Beast: Guardian of the Realms (2002) for Game Boy Advance .
The third game of the franchise (the screenshot was taken from) is Project Altered Beast (2005), that was only released in Japan and Europe.

Congrats Barry, the next question is yours.  :-D

I'll go easy. Sonic the Hedgehog has had a game on every major western SEGA home console and portable. One other franchise almost attained this goal, but failed to appear on two pieces of hardware. What is this franchise and what are the two pieces of hardware?

Oooh, this is a hard one. My first instinct was Shinobi and Phantasy Star, but I was wrong there.

Is it Bonanza Bros.? It appeared on the Master System and Genesis, I believe it had a port to the Dreamcast, and it did not appear on the Game Gear or Saturn.

No it's not that, and don't forget ALL western released pieces of hardware.

What do you count as "hardware" in this case? Like, could you give a list of what you mean?

Anything SEGA sold to consumers in western territories (US/UK specifically) that require a cartridge or disc. ;)

Hint: I'm avoiding worldwide because then we get into murky territory with the real old consoles like SG-1000. These games released in Japan.

Close, but Alex Kidd did not have a Dreamcast game. I'm not counting cameos like SEGAGAGA. Also, now that I think of it, he was not on the Game Gear was he? So that's four.

Failed to appear on SEGA Saturn & Arcade.

Ecco is correct! Though I said home console and handheld, which excludes arcades. Ecco failed to appear on the Saturn and the 32X. Kolibri did give the 32X an Ecco-like game, but of course that is not an Ecco game. Ecco appeared on the Master System, Genesis/MD, Game Gear, Pico and Dreamcast.

My favorite Ecco game is Ecco Jr, since it wasn't as hard as others. Lol

Ok, my turn of question :

This SEGA published game was poorly reviewed by many gamesite and VGChartz estimating this game to flop, citing a low number units in sales.
But surpsrisingly this game sold well, more than twice that VGChartz's citing. It's even managed to be in Top 10 game for PS2 and PSP for some weeks.
Its PSP version even got re-release as "Greatest Hits" series due to its good sales.
(A game can earn this 'greatest hits" title if it meets certain sales criteria within two years after its release).
What's the title of the game?

This SEGA game has various gameplay and many tribute for previous musical SEGA games
(Samba de Amigo, Space Channel 5, Feel The Magic XY/XX).
Released for 3DS and iOS.
But too bad due to the failure of the iOS version, the sequel for the 3DS version got cancelled too.
What's the title of the game?
