Indeed. Especially since the main character only has four fingers.
What kind of human had four fingers.
AI still can't draw hand accurately.

It has improved since, though, depends on the AI you're using.

I see. I rarely use AI so I'm really not up to date.

I sometimes use AI, but depends on the project. I know AI content is an iffy content to some, but I am supportive of it as long as it's used responsibly.

For example, using AI speech for fraud is bad and why voice actors are afraid of it taking their jobs.
But if AI speech is used in personal projects and is credited, then no harm, no foul. And that crediting the AI will also give credit to the original voice actors.

Another example... if the "Mariostro Strikers" art was AI generated, do you think they paid for it? I'd find it scummy if the producer charged money for AI content for business or personal use.

But, if I need a profile picture for a personal character, then having a quick generated AI picture for them is fine to serve as a placeholder for their profile art.

I guess AI is like a knife.
It can do good or bad ... depended on the one who's holding it.

Right now "Mariostro Strikers" has been pulled from Microsoft store.
Dunno the reason why.

Maybe Nintendo's legal team intervened?

It could be.
Or it could also be the fact that the game were reported for being unplayable on XBox (only playable on PC with Microsoft account).
It's a port of a mobile game that uses touch control and somehow in the XBox version the game is still asking for touch control and couldn't controlled by XBox controller.

Mario Kart World dev comments on why non-Mario characters aren’t included

Quote
Ouest-France recently spoke Yabuki and this was one of the topics that came up. He indicated that other Nintendo characters wouldn’t be the right fit and there was already plenty of possibilities with Mario alone. Yabuki said the following (via machine translation):
“As developers, it would have seemed incongruous to add characters from other games to this universe. And it didn’t seem necessary, given everything we could already do with Mario. We inevitably wonder how players will perceive this ...”

The first title in the Mario Strikers series and originally released for the Nintendo GameCube system in 2005, Super Mario Strikers is an extreme soccer game where anything goes. Select your captain from Mushroom Kingdom mainstays like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Wario and Waluigi, and jump into a bevy of modes like Grudge Match, Cup Battles and Custom Battles.
