Nintendo Finally Officially Enters Indonesia

Nintendo confirmed it will launch the original Switch, Switch OLED, and Switch 2 in Indonesia this December through a new local website and partnership with the Salim Group.
Bundles include free copies of Pokémon Let's Go! Pikachu, with launch titles like Mario Kart World, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Pokémon games.
No eShop at launch, but more details on pricing and games are coming soon ...

Mario Ranks No. 7 Among Gen Alpha Boys’ Favorite Characters while Sonic Ranks No. 2

A new report from children’s interactive entertainment platform Lingokids has ranked Sonic as the second favorite character among boys ages 3 to 8, putting SEGA’s Blue Blur ahead of SpongeBob SquarePants, Superman, Bluey, Batman, and even longtime gaming rival Mario.
Only Spider-Man managed to outrun him.
The rankings form part of Lingokids’ new Kids Interactive Entertainment Report, which draws on surveys of 2,000 parents of young  children alongside Lingokids usage information and data from The Insights Family.
The top 10 favorite characters among boys ages 3 to 8 were:

1. Spider-Man
2. Sonic the Hedgehog
3. SpongeBob SquarePants
4. Superman
5. Bluey
6. Batman
7. Mario

Simply put, Disney has fallen out of favour of late. Star Wars and Marvel fans blame Disney for ruining their favourite franchises and people are seeing Disney for what it is than what it wants its audience to see them as. A corporate tyrant than a magical cartoon utopia.

Well, yeah. That's because they're still rich. Even movies that bomb like Snow White or live-action Moana would still make bank for them.

It's because they made a lot of movies so the successful ones could cover the rest  that were not succesful. If they only made two and that's happened to be just Snow White and live-action Moana, they're gonna be bankrupt. Well, the movie division at least, Disney are more than just movies.

Yes, because they put their eggs in many baskets. But other companies can do that too, right? Sadly mostly no, small companies usually only have one egg so they don't have a lot of option. Only big corporates like Disney have lots of eggs.
