Japan's Former PM Wasn't So Sure About Promoting Tokyo 2020 As Mario

Quote
He admitted, "Initially, I wondered if it were ok for the Prime Minister to take on the appearance of Mario,
but the Olympics wanted to get rid of political overtones as much as possible”
The Tokyo Olympics was meant to take place in July and August of this year but has now been pushed back to Summer 2021 due to the global pandemic.
As Abe is no longer in power, it'll be up to his successor, Yoshihide Suga, to don Mario's cap.

Sorry, Mario Kart Live
Sega Beat You To The Punch Over 30 Years Ago

Quote
Back in the late '80s, Sega created the Sega Super Circuit, an arcade racing title where players controlled RC cars around a massive 80-metre race track, using a CCD video camera mounted on the vehicle.
Like Mario Kart Live, a lot of human interaction was required – the track had to be manned by paid operators who would have to line up the cars for each race.
These individuals were also called upon to supply live commentary for the on-track action.

>Super Mario Kart Live
I would love there to be a "Sonic R Live" or "Sonic Racing Live" equivilent. I feel the same way for Lego Mario. It's especially cool what you could do with Mario Kart Live and Lego Mario together!*
>Mario Golf
I hate golf. *Hits a ball in a hole with a stick* Now give me all this land that we could use for parks, public gardens or preservation, make it private so that only snooty people can come in, just to hit balls around with sticks.

I never play real life golf, but I spent many hours on Fantasy Golf Pangya (PSP) because the story is interesting and funny.

That's the only golf game that really interests me, I think.
Even SEGA's Golf of Fury didn't interests me.

I suppose there is no harm in video game golf since it's more for everyone and doesn't take up land.
And Mini-golf can be fun.

I just hate regular golf because I find it a waste of land.
