This is the favourite street fighter game for many fans. I'm one of them so call me excited

The music in the trailer alone makes me want to never even try the demo.

I have the game on Dreamcast and do not like how you pretty much have to be a pro at the game to do anything in it. Street Fighter IV is really great in that it supports casual fans of the series like me pretty well, while not stupefying it in any major way.

I cannot see myself buying this.

Also Snaus, I thought you liked this game a lot? We used to play sometimes on GGPO as well. I disagree with you, I think the song is awesome, and that the game is going to be awesome. There is so, so much care and attention going into this port it's mind-bending:

I don't think the game is any more execution heavy than most SF games at low level of play though. Parries take a bit of getting used to but apart from that it's not too bad. I'm a scrub at it, but really excited for the game regardless.

I love the music too. The whole OST of that game is just really unique and awesome. No doubt the best in the series.

I'd be interested in this, but have to track down a fighting controller first. Not the arcade stick variety either, just a digital pad (SF IV branded ones I've seen).

I bought and played Marvel Vs Capcom 2 for about 20 minutes before vowing to never play with a standard controller again.

@ Sanus: The original dc version of SF3 was a terrible port, 3rd Strike is a better port but not near Arcade.

Hey cube, don't you mean "double impact" by the bad port? Because I remember having a game similar to third strike called that which was indeed really... different in a bad way.

Dreamcast had Double Impact (a compliation of the first two versions) and 3rd Strike (the third version).

From what I remember 3rd Strike on Dreamcast wasn't bad, but it was better on SF Anniversary Collection on Xbox/PS2 in every way, so it kind of got forgotten.

If you guys get this will it be on Xbox or PS3? Who do you use?
I'll be getting it on Xbox and I usually use Q and Hugo.

I haven't had the time or energy to compare the DC version and the PS2 version of 3rd Strike, but I know for a fact that the DC version wasn't Arcade Perfect while the PS2 version is.

Though people say the difference isn't all that significant.

Double Impact was a terrible port, and that is not a stretch there was like a second or 2 lag between command and action.

It is still there in 3rd Strike (if you compare it to SF2 or CVS2) but I haven't compared it to the PS2 version to know how significant it is.
