Do you think, if Shadow had a Secret Rings counterpart, it should be Uhu the Wind Genie? Like the blue orb form is his travel form while his true form resembles Shadow.

While I can see Shadow as Uhu, I prefer if he's some kind of Sonic's rival, not a genie.
In Black Knight it's make sense that Shadow is Lancelot given Lancelot has a rivalry relationship too with Arthur.

Yes but Uhu was a rival in Secret Rings as he challenges Sonic to race through stages. So while not a rival in fighting, a rival in racing.

I believe it was Aladdin. The story of Aladdin involved both a ring genie and a lamp genie.

On second thought, both Secret Rings and Black Knight didn't even follow the original story so I guess Shadow as a genie was okay.

Yeah, but Jaffar is the Disney version, not the original version.
Prince of Persia game was the one who had Jaffar as his rival enemy.

I had this game back then on my PC.
It was fun but it needs password from manual books
(find the 28th letter in the page 14, something like that).
Once I lost the manual books, the game couldn't be played again.

This makes me cringe a little.

Cute presentation aside, this game is hard to master, like “Umihara Kawase” series.

Jordan Mechner should be the one who sued Disney since the game came out before Disney's Aladdin movie.
But I guess fighting against Disney lawyers would be too costly and probably just best to put your time into something else.
