Sonic Frontiers latest gameplay trailer showcases Super Sonic within the open zone setting powering up upon collecting all seven emeralds.
Just as Chaos intended.
While it remains to be seen if you can play as Super Sonic while just running around and exploring the islands, his appearance in an open zone boss battle is a good sign.

The game stars Kazuma Kiryu in a story that takes place between Yakuza 6 and 7 with classic gameplay elements returning.
The game is said to be smaller, about half the size of a mainline Yakuza/Like a Dragon title.

Also, notably, the game drops the Yakuza name, which we also noted yesterday with the Like a Dragon: Ishin! reveal.
It looks like the Yakuza franchise is now the Like a Dragon franchise!

I see. I may play it, but I still haven't finished Yakuza 0 let alone started Kiwami. But given it's set in the past I guess it's before established plot.

They had one more game in 2007 that's released before Ishin which's also set in Edo period : Kenzan.

I know, while I like Yakuza I yet to finish 0. And I don't want to just buy any game in the series if it could lead to potential spoilers. You don't just want Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows first and not watch the other Harry Potter movies out of order.

Then again I suppose you could watch Indiana Jones movies out of order given they're mostly stand alone adventures.

It's safe then.
Ishin has no correlation to other Yakuza games other than the look-alike characters in another universe.
Even to Kenzan! (which is set two centuries before Ishin!, it's also different universe, hence the plots are not related with each other)
