Sonic movies already hae post-credit scenes.

Some Marvel movies have two post-credit scenes.

I still remember the absolute hype of Shadow's reveal. I just did not expect it at all!

I already guessed it since the first movie post-credit scene revealed Tails so I though 2nd movie would reveal new character for 3rd movie and Shadow's the most likely choice.
I would have guessed Knuckles of course if Knuckles wasn't already in 2nd movie.

That's true. But then again it all comes down to whenever or not they'll bother with a Sega Cinematic Universe. I'm aware Yakuza and Streets of Rage movies are on the way. I will excuse if at least one of these two movies have nothing to do with Sonic's movies but if it's a no from both of them then it's likely Sega nor Paramount have no interest in a cinematic universe.

I would of thought Sonic 2's teaser would be someone like Metal Sonic or Amy because while the second movie is a rough amalgamation of Sonic 2 and 3 (games) I figured they were sticking to Classic-era adaptions and such. So a Dreamcast-era adaption so soon was rather unexpected from me.

If those other SEGA movies were not done by Paramount, then I guess most likely no SEGA cinematic universe was ever built.

Before the 2nd movie aired, there's already rumour that this would be the last appearance of Jim Carey in Sonic movies.
That's why I didn't think about Metal Sonic at all since it would be weird having Metal Sonic without Robotnik (though it does happened in game and comic, but not as introduction).

From what I understand, Jim Carrey does want to retire from acting in general, but he still enjoys his role as Dr. Robotnik that he may continue exclusively acting for Dr. Robotnik for as long as the Sonic movie franchise continues. If Jim Carrey wishes to retire the role, Sega and Paramount say they will not replace Robotnik and retire him from the movies.

I imagine if that ever happens, Agent Stone will take over for Robotnik.

That's happened in the comic too, right?
With Snively and Dr Starline instead of Stone though.

I think I'd rather have that too (Stone replacing Jimbotnik) rather than having new actor as Jimbotnik.

Jumanji Launch Trailer | Sega Amusements

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKUHhb7qCI0

Quote
Jump into the rich fantasy world of Jumanji. A brand-new, four-player, skill-based ticket redemption game that brings the multibillion-dollar blockbuster film franchise to the amusements market for the very first time. The twelve minigames are carefully re-created based on iconic scenes from the films and feature authentic movie audio, thus making Jumanji immensely immersive, and a lot of fun.

Players take on the role as one of the film’s main characters to solve the entertaining and exciting games. To win the super ticket bonus, players must use quick-thinking and quicker reflexes to climb the Jaguar statue and save Jumanji. The gameplay is intuitive and entertaining thanks to the unique controller that switches between free-spin and ratchet-spin, depending on the game being played.

The lush jungle-themed cabinet features a dazzling screen surround, fully lit Jumanji gameboard that tracks player’s progress and the huge marquee featuring the film characters draws players to the cabinet.

Actually quite the opposite!
Snively tried to usurp Robotnik a few times. Dr. Robotnik eventually outsmarted, defeated and trapped Snively in a prison pod and just left him there.

Dr. Starline was the one who "restored" Dr. Eggman to his evil self and was mentored by him for awhile until he tried to go it alone. Long story short, Dr. Eggman may have killed him.

As for the movies, to me it appears Stone is totally loyal to (and maybe gay for) Dr. Robotnik. He never made any attempt to usurp Robotnik, not even attempted to takeover on his behalf. Robotnik gave him instructions with that coffee shop and he followed through.

I see. No wonder fans shipped Agen Stone x Robotnik, but nobody shipped Robotnik with Snively or Starline.
