Yeah, they say Yakuza games have influenced some public perception who's never got involved with them, by thinking yakuza as "honorable" anti-heroes who operate under a strict moral code (like "Robin Hood") which of course it has contrasts with the brutal reality of organized crime since it sometimes involves drug trafficking and exploitation.

That sounds like it can be dangerous.
