Most likely its the connection, he is in the basement last I recall. Find a way to increase the signal. I use Wifi, but my modem is like in the same room.

I just wanted to avoid the hassle of extending an extensively long cable through the whole house.
Maybe those secondary routers will do the trick.. Would one on the party floor do the trick?

Well.. I suppose you could try that, but for ultimate signal quality you might as well run a wire all the way up to your PC, and use your PC's wifi as the extender, and have your PS3 and other WiFi devices in that room connect to your PC's WiFi connection =P

Drill a hole through the floor/cieling as necessary, and run the cable through a pipe, and make it a stripper's pole through the 'PARTY' floor. Everyone wins!

Both neat ideas..

I think I'll try to use my PC as a WiFi extension, and put up some stripper poles. You know..just in case.

Hey guys, I'm having some friends coming over for 3 days.
I only have one PS3 controller and I'm running low on cash right now.

Can I buy two PS2 controller adapters and plug two PSX Dual Shocks without hassle? Or PSX controllers don't work at all?

in other words, yes you can do that... i think. this says PS2 controllers... but PS1 controllers are basically PS2 controllers still so... lol, i dunno

That was a helpful post, Shadi.

Just do not get controller converters that are designed for the original PlayStation. PlayStation 2 controllers had pressure sensitive buttons (that is why they feel so mushy and shitty), so if you are using PlayStation 2 controllers on a PlayStation controller adapter it will not work.
