Understandable given while NiGHTS is still popular they hadn't had much cameos of late.

People tend to like something that they could understand or make sense of.
Even at first NiGHTS  was rather a confusing character for me. At first I thouht NiGHTS  was female.
But then many magazine refered NiGHTS as him or he.
And then SEGA said NiGHTS is genderless.
Twice that I have to correct what to think of him/her.

Way I figured, NiGHTS was suppose to be a franchise where given it's established to be set in dreams require to have your mind as opened as possible for it. No matter how confusing or crazy the characters or stages are, it's "dream logic". If anything I find it impressive and deep when NiD and NJoD use dream interpretation to detail the childrens personality traits.

For example, the reason why NiGHTS has a british accent in NJoD is because the chidlren are from Bell Bridge which I pressume is based on London, that makes the kids british. But I believe that Wizemen and his creations are incarnates of their NiD-selves, with Wizeman, NiGHTS and Reala being the only Nightmarens who retain their identities.

So if the kids are from Asia, NiGHTS could have an Asian accent?
That's interesting.
I guess that's why Yuji Naka make a new language in Balan Wonderworld.
Balan is kinda like NiGHTS and Lance is kinda like Reala.
The people who came into Balan Wonderworld are from various places,
it would be easier to make 1 new language than to make Balan talk to them in many different languages and accents.

I remember I have a dream meeting Michael Jackson when I was a kid.
Since I know he's from US, I talked to him in English.
We chat in English fluently in my dream eventhough when I was a kid, my english was supposed to be very very limited.

‘Home Alone’ Sound Effects Were Used In NiGHTs into Dreams for Sega Saturn

It’s pretty unclear why composers Tomoko Sasaki and Naofumi Hataya might have chosen to sample Home Alone.
There is a Christmas themed promotional version of NiGHTs called Christmas NiGHTs into Dreams.
So it’s possible the team just really liked Christmas. In other words, it’s just something that will likely remain a secret.
