I wouldn't be shocked if Shenmue I & II HD come out in the next year or so. You got to understand that Shenmue III isn't coming out till after 2017.

Did Yu Suzuki just mention that _______ might be in this game?

The way he phrased it (assuming the translation is accurate), it could be interpreted just as an example rather than a definitive statement that that character is in it. On the other hand, one of the illustrations shown at the GDC presentation does show that character.

I feel like I'm in the minority but I wish for Shenmue to stay in Japanese. I know a lot of people have nostalgia for the English dub, but I always wished it was true to its roots.

I know we need a bigger audience so subs of different languages are needed, but...why as a stretch goal?! We need the game before you worry about that.
