Its way more than the saturn that's the point.

What a handful of titles ? and even then the calls for DC sequels are getting less and less bar SOA or Shenmue

Quote
It is because those games on those systems are memorable to people

Plenty of people asking for sequels for all sorts of games on all systems . The only reason it seems more people ask for some of the DC games is because the system did better in the USA and so you then to get more calls .

Quote
Not enough good games was released for the west and the AAA games for DC far outweigh

No. Plenty of the good Saturn software was brought to the West and there were some very good games made for the system in the West too. Plenty of Saturn AAA game to be bought even for the Pal gamer

You still here? You are desperate. You come back after a week and come up with two weak responses..one that isn't worth carrying on and this one where you STILL can't show any Saturn AAA games from Sega and Sega alone. Did it take you a whole week to come up with both weak responses? What a tool..stop wasting my time and everyone elses. What a frigging joke.

So SAGA and Zwei aren't AAA games ? No is the likes of Virtual Fighter II, SEGA Rally , or what about Burning Rangers , NiGHTS, Dragon Force . Add in Iron Storm, World Series BaseBall II, Astal , Fighting MegaMix, AthleteKings, Virtual ON , Virtual Cop and they're AAA games alright and how I miss the old SEGA that used to pump out the likes of those and all those from SEGA Japan In-House (and don't try and be clever about Iron Storm).

Try naming the DC AAA In-House SEGA games for a change . C'Mon lets see them and I'll equal it with Saturn titles . The only area the DC had a real advantage over the Saturn, was in the 3D platform dept imo

SmileBit:

Jet Set Radio
Typing of the Dead

WoW:

Alien Front Online
Dynamite Cop
House of the Dead 2
Zombie Revenge
Sega GT
Sega Bass Fishing (and marine fishing)

Overworks:

Skies of Arcadia

Sonic Team:

Chu Chu Rocket
Phantasy Star Online (and v2)
Samba
Sonic Adventure
Sonic Adventure 2

AM2

Shenmue
Shenmue 2
Virtua Fighter 3
OutTrigger
Ferrari Challenge
Fighting Vipers 2

Hitmaker:

Confidential Mission
Virtual On Oratoria Tangram (widely hailed as the best console port in the series)
Crazy Taxi
Crazy Taxi 2
Virtua Tennis
Virtua Tennis 2

Rosso:

Cosmic Smash

Amusement Vision:

Daytona USA 2001 Edition

United Game Artists:

Sega Rally 2
Rez
Space Channel 5
Space Channel 5, pt 2

That's all I could think of from Sega Japan. I'm sure there are more. I guess we can throw in SOA (Visual Concepts) and SOE (No Cliche) also, but I'm not sure that's pertinent to the argument.

Well Jonboy that's hardly a bigger list and quite a lot of those are not hailed as AAA classics -no-one see's the likes of Outrigger Zombie Revenge, SEGA GT as AAA (but yes its subjective)  or where gamers are wanting more sequels to them and the that's overlooking the likes of Cosmic Smash never came to the West be that America or Europe

I would also put to you that more people see VF II as the better game than VF 3tb , SEGA Rally a better port and a better game than SEGA Rally II (thanks the DC terrible car physics and handling)  and that Die Hard Arcade is better than its sequel , same goes for Fighting Vipers and if you are going to include the ports that were either not handled In-House by SEGA Japan  (Vf 3 and FV II) or where most I doubt would try and  class them as AAA classics then one can add the likes of House of the Dead, Manx TT, Virtual Racing , Golden Axe the Duel , F-1 Challenge , Sega Touring Cars , Wing Arms, Last Bronx (mind you I think its a AAA classic )  to the Saturn list .

In the end there were plenty of AAA and good games on the Saturn even in the west and just because the system fails to take of in some parts of the world is not a true reflection of the system or its games . I love the Master System and yet that was a flop in Japan and America, love the X-Box even though most of Europe and Japan didn't really care for the system

We are getting very subjective at this point. You and I will just say "no I think this or that is AAA."

Sorry about Cosmic Smash. Ill close by saying your last list included such fine examples of blue blood Sega Japan gaming as Duke Nukem and Tomb Raider.

Well SEGA GT to most was a letdown on the DC  lets face it , Sega Rally II a troubled port from start to finish and handle terribly (shame as it is a good game) and I doubt anyone really thinks Outrigger is a AAA product. That not to say its bad game though

Again you keep mentioning the same titles but you still couldn't prove that the saturn had a major amount of AAA titles from sega for the west and that it was more than the DC. When people questioned you on it you resorted by using third parties games. The moment you did that you lost. So stop derailing the thread and get back on topic. The saturn was crap in the west. EVERYONE knows it. Stop trying to convince everyone otherwise.

Try naming the DC AAA In-House SEGA games for a change . C'Mon lets see them and I'll equal it with Saturn titles . The only area the DC had a real advantage over the Saturn, was in the 3D platform dept imo

Whoever is listening could you please tell TA to either stick to the actual topic or not post here at all. He keeps on derailing every topic on stuff that has nothing really to do with the actual topic. Its getting tiring now. Since he won't create a topic on it, I ask the mods to actually tell him to stop this conversation.
Thanks.
