What better way to kick off Sonic’s 35th anniversary year than with the launch of a couple of new LEGO sets featuring the blue hedgehog? While we’ve seen a number of builds released over the years including a diorama of Green Hill Zone, head of Shadow the Hedgehog and even a bite-sized take on the Biolizard from Sonic Adventure 2, 2026’s latest duo is interesting for two reasons. One is that we’re finally seeing a new character from the Sonic universe get the minifigure treatment. The other is that we’re now shifting gears from Sonic’s platforming adventures to his racing spin-offs.
First up is the smaller of the two sets – Sonic: Speedster Lightning. At just 126 pieces, it is one of the smallest sets released involving the blue blur, but at just £8.99, it also makes it among the cheapest.

Different time really.
Back in my day they were Street Fighter II, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Tetris, and Prince of Persia.
Basically anything in arcade centers or PC rental since almost none of us could afford to have a gaming console.
It was considered luxury for some time until cheap Famiclone started to come to the point that Nintendo got angry and sued Spica (the most famous one of Famiclone) to oblivion.
For adult games they are Mortal Kombat, Time Killers, Cobra Mission, and uh ... Strip Poker III.

I guess '90s to millenial British kids were built different. I would say they were mostly "yobbish" growing up, but to be fair I imagine all of us just wanted to get school over and done with.

I don't hate going to school. But the main reason's to meet my friends there, not just for studying.

I had the one or two friends, but school was an overall chore to me. I didn't want to go to school, I barely learned anything of practicality from it, the day I left school (and the fact I had sustainable income) felt like the start of an extended holiday. I still went to college, but it didn't work out for me... twice.

Well, yeah. English is perhaps the most common language in the world.
I live in Wales. welsh was taught in schools but I never learned it. Never had the need for it. I only met 3-5 people in my life where Welsh was their primary language.

SEGA Is Delisting Fan-Made Yakuza Merch From Etsy 

Over the past few days, fans that have been selling their own Yakuza-themed merch on Etsy have seemingly been having their items taken down. A user on Twitter called Miyari claims that Sega of America is the company behind the takedowns, and that it's been claiming IP infringement to justify its actions. Exactly why Sega has chosen now to start taking this kind of stuff down, despite having allowed it for years, is currently unknown.
In an attempt to get around the copyright problems and keep their products on Etsy, fans have been getting rather creative with their names. For example, Miyari has relisted a bunch of ball plushes designed to look like several Yakuza characters as "Crime Guys And Their Stuffed Bird Friends Plush", which is a level of pettiness that I can only ...
