Sega announced two new kinds of Sonic and Friends x Sanrio merchandise that involves the chibi versions of characters dressed as Sanrio mascots. Acrylic stands and button badge pins are headed to Japan. Both will appear as arcade prizes starting on May 22, 2026. As the plush keychain mascots of Sonic and Shadow in this line did appear on the Sega Toys Amazon storefront, we could see these worldwide after their Japanese debut.Each of these two sets features six Sonic the Hedgehog characters dressed up in hats resembling the mascots.
