I put my 3DS XL for sale to see how much I could get out of it. If it compensates well with the N3DS purchase, id buy it, do the transfer and then give it to the buyer?

Yes. Question is if I will feel my experience less enjoyable because of the smaller screen.

What annoys me is to get money for a new XL, i'd have to sell the old one, but I want to transfer my old data. It would be nice if stores like Gamestop had a program where they buy your old 3DS, and do an in-store transfer to the new system. Cell phone shops do that, where you can trade in your old phone.

I guess they want you to shell out 200, go home, transfer, go back to the shop and sell your old 3DS.

You should go with XL if that sits better with you. Otherwise only way to find out s finding a shop that's got it on display.

Kind of overboard with how many great games the 3ds has delivered. The content transfer stuff is pretty terrible though
