« on: March 26, 2015, 01:34:19 pm »
http://store.steampowered.com/sale/sega_publisher_weekend_2015/

From today until March 30th, Steam has some pretty solid deals on SEGA titles.
Valkyria Chronicles is $6.79
Jet Set Radio is $2.50
Alien Isolation is $12.49

Most titles are anywhere from 50-75% off.

Tempted to get Ayyy: Iso.

Was thinking about getting some of the classic Sonic games, but I may as well download the ROMS since I own them on Mega Drive anyway. Are the steam ports any good for them? If they are well done ports I might buy.

Apart from that, maybe get Med 2 collection because I don't have the DLC on my steam account for some reason.

Everyone wants me to buy Sonic Generations, so I'll probably not buy it so I can be the SUPREME WEASEL. Or i'll buy it because it looks alright I guess. but $17.... :/

I'm not too sure what the Genesis emulation is like on Steam, but I think I'll pick up Wonder Boy III and test it out.

Damn it Steam, why must you continuously give us such great deals? I'm tired giving you all my money!

Its OK? I mean its emulation, its not fancy Sonic CD remake.

I'd prefer you get Alien: Isolation. Sonic Generations is a flawed love letter to Sonic fans but Alien: Isolation?

Skip on the Sonic ports except for Sonic CD, a brilliant remake and playable Tails too. It's worth the money.

Sonic Generations is a great game, but Sonics eyes are bound to be too green for you, or something.

Well its not that its a bad game, its just that the game has issues and was a great step in the right direction. But your pretending that like incomplete last bosses, the coup of too much speed and other issues should be rightly ignored.

Its a great game, I agree, but mocking people that have a different opinion because of 'green eyes' is a bit much, no?

To be honest I forget about the last boss, I've played it literally once. I just speed run through the levels over and over again. I'm not sure what you mean about the speed issue. I think it's pretty spot on. Sonic Unleashed was too fast and as a result too linear, I think Generations and Colours both got it pretty right.

(For the record I was joking about Mademans general negativity, nothing serious.)

And besides... I'm pretty sure the green eyes brigade was Hulean or something on GAF trying to say he DOESN'T have green eyes haha.

On a personal note I'm still annoyed that this is the one and ONLY time SEGA decided to refer to Sonic 3 & Knuckles as one game instead of two. Was it so hard to just re-use some of Cool Edge from Sonic Unleashed as a base for Ice Cap?

I'm more annoyed they got all the assets done for what could have been a cool Casino Night Zone and instead just made a pinball machine game! I was SO SURE there would be a DLC Casino Night level...

Oh damn I completely forgot about that.

Yeah a lot of silly decisions, I get it that you want to celebrate the franchises full history... But is it too much to ask that you drop Crisis City for Casino Night or Ice Cap? Heck they even had some assets done for levels like Stardust Speedway or Final Rush with the Metal Sonic/Shadow the Hedgehog boss fights.

I already have the big games on PC: Overkill and Alien: Isolation. The rest I got on 360 and not really into the RTS stuff.

They did and they both brilliant games that almost get it . Think Lost World was a little step backwards but it was still a nice game .
