So I watched it... It was an alright adventure.

The jokes were mostly hit-or-miss with me. Mostly miss (I understand the blue gnomes were meant to be kicked in the game, but why did that blue gnome enjoy it?). But the story gets more engaging more episodes along the way.

I didn't hate. not as engaging as I hoped it would be, but it was still an alright series. I'd give it a ★★★⯪☆.

Also, why was Tyris' battle-cry "SEGA" that one time? I figured there was a payoff to that "joke" from the trailer, but there wasn't any.


Would I watch a season two if there was one? Yeah. It was still an alright adventure and it feels hit-'n-miss, so maybe the progression would be more ironed-out by next season, if we were to get one. I imagine the developers will also have more of a sense what their audience want out of Golden Axe as a TV series as well.
