That’s right, 2006’s Sonic the Hedgehog is back up for sale digitally on Xbox 360! Selling for only $4.99, the game has returned following a mass delisting of Sonic games with low critic scores several years back.
However, I think I know why the game has made a sudden return…
Now that Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (the movie) is available digitally, and Shadow the Hedgehog makes his mid-credits debut in the movie, SEGA sees an opportunity to make money off of casual fans looking to reconnect with the series.

Sonic Origins "Story Mode" will only let you run through all games as Sonic

One of the special modes for Sonic Origins is the newly added Story Mode which lets you replay the first four sonic games as one seamless experience.
There’s one big caveat to that and that’s because you can only play through this mode as Sonic rather than Tails or Knuckles.
But don't worry, in "Anniversary Mode", you can play as Sonic, Tails, and even Knuckles!

We'll never know. I never thought that I would had a chance to visit Hong Kong back then, but somehow I could get there (with my office workmates, the trip was paid by my employer).

Sonic 3 Movie Aiming For 2024, Paramount Possibly Seeking "Hollywood Actor" To Voice New Enemy (Spoiler Alert!)

No names have been revealed at this stage, but it might not be an existing VA (like Tails).
Shadow's VA could be more like Knuckles - a big-name Hollywood casting.
And if you're wondering about Amy Rose appearing in the future - unfortunately, the producers were unable to answer this one due to a non-disclosure agreement.

Fan games that are monetized, I'd say it's fair for Sega or Nintendo to call C&D over. No matter how quality the fan game it should be for free and recreational and not profiting off others licensed properties.
I know there are YouTube videos of licensed content that's monetized, I dunno how they work, YouTube rules or something.

As far as I'm aware, most of Nintendo fan games were free just like Sega fan games and Nintendo had no real reason to take them down other than they don't like fan games.

I just hope Sonic the Series is as quality as Drone Home. I wouldn't mind cameo from live-action actors though. I don't want Tom, Maddie or Wade to simply be mentioned but never shown. Even the MCU movie stars had time to reprise roles for TV series.
