I played Sonic on my friend's Mega Drive for the first time when I was six years old.
I had a hard time getting used to the feeling of running around like a roller coaster!
The "loop" terrain that I drew was particularly memorable to me.

This is good. It's like Sonic Frontiers is ready for a big leap in the evolution of Sonic games.

They really went out from their comfort zone. Trying an all new different direction was risque, hopefully it paid off.

I dunno. Maybe Sega just didn't want them exposing as much skin as the princesses.

I believe it will. I have a feeling this game may not be as good as Generations (I hold that game in high regards) but still be their best in a long while... Heck maybe Frontiers will surpass Generations for me.

Pixel Frames Mega Man, Sonic, and Street Fighter Art Show Appropriate Moments

I think the Sonic the Hedgehog Loop Scene is the Pixel Frames shadow box that best shows what this collection can do.
First, we’re in Green Hill Zone. Everyone knows it. Sonic is just finishing running through one of the series’ trademark loops.
It conveys a sense of speed, since we see he’s already gone through it and is in motion. Plus, it provides an opportunity to place him in one of the midground layers, with the front of the loop and “stage” in the foreground.
Lurking ahead is a Buzz Bomber, one of the series’ more recognizable standard enemies. Plus, the background layer is far enough behind to provide even more context.
It highlights a lot of things people love about the series.

Colleen O'Shaughnessey said, "The best thing was recording that scene in Siberia.
It was so much fun, and they just let us go.
We kept really true to the script for a couple of passes, and then they were just like, 'go for it.'
