World War 3 by 2048? That's not that long away... But for it to only last half as long as WW2 means it's bearable. Still, with how shitty UK seems to be right now, all I can hope for is things will get better.
Still, it's interesting to see VR and AR advance. I'm not much of a gamer, but been fascinated to see how far it would go. And while I know of the inate fear of AI software, my "dream VR game" would be an open-world VR game where an advance AI serves as both game master and god to your personal experience.

I can see why they were angry. Especially given Genshinm Imact was already out a year or so when it was nominated, making fans feel it was unfair for a game with a playerbase in-advance to be nominated.
