I also sometimes think Sonic Shuffle should be given another chance... though, kinda did with S&tSR's Party Mode.

Iizuka and Pico Park producer Shimazu confirmed this in an interview with Gamertag Radio.
Because "it's a 35th anniversary title," Iizuka wanted the game to have a lot of characters.
Shimazu's favorite hasn't been revealed yet ...
